Mike Rich
For over 35 years, Mike Rich has been extensively involved in the development and construction of a diverse array of commercial and residential projects. After graduating from the University of Florida College of Design, Construction, and Planning, he joined his family's development business, Rich Group, Inc., where he oversaw the horizontal and vertical construction of single-family subdivisions and office buildings.
Mike's career took a significant step forward when he joined a Texas-based development firm, where he led the Orlando operations for a 100-acre mixed-use, tourist-focused project in Kissimmee, Osceola County, Florida. This expansive project included hotels, a shopping center, timeshare units, and apartments.
Later, Mike became a key figure at a Winter Park, Florida-based development firm, where he took responsibility for the design, entitlement, and construction of shopping centers. His leadership and expertise saw him rise to the role of Partner and Chief Operating Officer. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in the development of various commercial projects, including hotels, apartments, medical office buildings, and large mixed-use developments.
Today, Mike continues to focus on retail property development, specializing in shopping centers as the owner of Centergys Development, based in Orlando, Florida. He is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), where he remains engaged with industry trends and innovations.
